Online Sale of Chametz
מכירת חמץ
Chamtz Sale .jpg

One of the prime Mitzvot of the Passover Holiday is the removal of leaven products, known as “Chametz” from one’s possession. “Chametz” is defined as any product from wheat, barley, rye, oats or spelt which was allowed to rise, e.g. bread, crackers, utensils, etc. This is accomplished in two ways: outright disposal of all Chametz products in one’s possession, or sale of those products to a non-Jew. This process is done by an Orthodox Rabbi. Location of Chametz MUST be disclosed (use link form). (if you have different locations of Chametz, please use new form for each location as Halachah states). Happy Passover.

Please note the following deadlines for the online chametz sales 3-4 days before Passover.

The charge for the Chametz Sale is $18. Proceeds from this process will benefit Kollel Baruch A'havat Israel Chesed Programs.
